@@WickedFesterBand yeah I hear ya, they have to get those guitars setup before they ship them. Once setup, they’re great. It’s a pain in the butt though having to deal with that when you’re buying a fairly expensive guitar. Here Canada 🇨🇦 they are a tad bit over $2G’s ✌️

Never been a big fan of using both pups blended.

I haven’t been asked that yet but right outta the box I’d have to go with the San Dimas Charvel. They’re close but in the end the charvel is the axe I’d choose if I could only pick one. It covers a lot of ground well. 👍

Hey Eric, thanks 🙏 For recording, like in this video, I’m using a pair of Yamaha HS5 studio monitors and plugging the TMP into an Apogee Duet 2 recording interface into Logic Pro X recording software. You can go USB out of the TMP to record as well. I haven’t tried that yet. I’m not using the Wizard amp at all when I’m using the TMP. The TMP is a great at home playing/recording solution man, love it. All the updates have been great. I’ve owned Kemper, axe fx, helix, none have impressed me like the TMP. Awesome rig. Congrats! 👌 ✌️

Hey, 👍 not using the cab here. I’m using a Universal Ox Box for cab sims and delay and reverb. Then to my Apogee Diet 2 recording interface straight into logic. No post production. What you hear is what you get. Great little setup. 👌

Maybe the W800 sound. Others have their own tone. I haven’t played through a marshall yet that can hold a candle to a Wizard. Them’s the truth. 👍

Awesome stuff, congrats! I recently traded mine for a ‘51 Fender Custom Shop HS Telecaster limited Edition. Yeah the SRV is very harsh on the treble side of things. Had to lower my pickup quite a bit on the bridge. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pickups in that guitar to be honest. The Texas Special sounds awesome in my blue sparkle tele though, go figure. If I had kept it I was eventually going to put a Lindy Fralin Blues Special in that guitar. 👍 enjoy!

@@JasonHobbsGuitarist I find the MC's too bright (RUclips experience only:) and the MTL/hybrid too dark. The W800 and Rock Standard (JMP inspired) seem perfectly tuned for those classic tones.

@@firststep7750 the W800 is the amp for me. I went through 4 Wizard amps to realize this. It has more than enough gain and it cuts in a mix really well. 👍 👌

👍 I wasn’t even going to add my rig on the video, I really don’t see the point of giving someone your tweaked preset. What works for me is going to be totally different for someone else. Everyone knows that stuff though if you’re a guitarist. I’ve tweaked every preset I’ve used on this thing to the point you’d never recognize it after. lol Yeah great home recording unit though too. ✌️
